How often will you need to run this software? Wouldn't it be easier just to borrow someone's laptop for a couple hours?

Every time I create a new save game of a PS3 game. I'm not sure if I have to unlock the save every time I want to move it or if it stays unlocked.

Does it have to be Windows 8. You can get Windows 7 pretty cheap.

Microcenter refurb. $63 Dell. (open box for $50 at my store)

I bought a refurb open box HP for a little project and it came with Windows 7 Refurb Edition on disk and installed. It is actually nice since it has no crap ware. The cheapest HP I see is $103, though there is an open box at our store for $96 with Win 7 Pro.

I see a review on a Dell unit that did not come with a disk, so I guess you need to check in the box, if you want the disk.

Great deals, but we don't have room for another desktop. At that point, I could simply buy the Windows installer and using Windows 8, which is supposed to be easier than Windows 7, boot from an external USB drive.

I picked Windows 8 because making a bootable USB drive seems to be easier than Windows 7.
