My wife-to-be is in dire need of a new phone so we decided to get me a new 6S and let her have my old 5S. It makes sense since I use my phone for work and she just needs a phone that will do facebook and stuff (and keep a charge longer than a couple of hours). In any case, I walked into the local AT&T store here in Birmingham yesterday to order my phone. I knew that with the release day coming soon, my phone would be pushed back a bit. That was ok. As long as I get it before the wedding on 10/17 I'm cool. Well, I got the email this morning that I should get my phone tomorrow by 3pm. WHAT?! The store told me that the ship date was going to be around 10/1 for me due to the back up of early orders. We'll see what happens tomorrow, but for now I'm pretty surprised and pleased with AT&T/Apple. I would never expect a 2 day turn around on a "release day".

Congrats for your impending nuptuals! To me, women enjoy the larger iPhones even more than men.

I agree with everything in this post except for the obvious typo.

I am patiently waiting for a couple of people to quote this and make lewd comments.
That's what

Sorry, you made me do it.
