ISO: adapter dvi male to minidisplayport female

Hi there
I have a cinema display, with a minidisplayport plug and want to connect it a video card with dvi ports. Anybody have idea where to get one? Thanks.

why not just get a DVI to MDP cable?
no adapter needed.

Thanks for the suggestion but I need is the reverse, female minidisplayport and dvi male. I want to,use my Cinema Display with new video card in a Mac tower. I have one of Kanex's adapters and the Cinema Display works great with hdmi sources (no sound tho).

It's a new video card? Why aren't you converting a displayport then? It's fairly rare for new video cards not to include at least one.

I have two cinema displays. The video has a single DP port and two Dvi ports.

I need to a little more checking since I came across this item. Been a while since I had to deal with the ins and outs of video adapters and compatibility. Smile I may order this adapter just to try it out (need to get a DP to mini DP adapter.)
