Once every 5 years or so on the way in to the Disney World parking lots.

As best I can tell from the selection around where I live, AM is only used for native spanish speakers, angry bitter conservatives, and religious zealots. Occasionally for Seahawks games and Mariners games as well.

An AM all-news/weather/traffic CBS-affilate station for brief periods in the morning and on the road.

KCBS also simulcasts on FM (106.9) in my area, so no more AM.

The long range resection is better than FM but is so noise-ridden, that it tired me in a hurry.

So my 'New and Weather Together' along with traffic reports is far more civilized now.

Most of the time it's KCSM 91.1.

AM radio? Yes. A little of all these, until it gets repetitive.
Dave Ramsey
Rush Limbaugh
Glen Beck
Kim Komando
Clark Howard
Traffic stations if needed.
Music on AM? No

And I'll never understand how it's "entertaining" to listen to idiots and hate talk, especially when someone claims to know they're listening to idiots and hate mongers.

I just find it amusing. But then I laugh at the rubes being taken by the carnival gamesters. All in good fun (except for the fact that people actually believe the schlock they put out). Also, I'm not much for music of any kind.

My 91 year old mother in law found a local AM station that plays Big Band music from the 40's and 50's, that hoppin AM radio is right up her alley!
