Jessica Jones Renewed for Season 3

.....Krysten Ritter is extending her stay in Hell’s Kitchen. Netflix has renewed Marvel’s Jessica Jones for a third season, the streaming service announced Thursday.

Jessica Jones is coming off a rollercoaster of a second season, which included a major parental twist and ended with an explosive finale that would lead anyone to drink as much as the show’s title character.

In addition to Ritter, the Netflix drama’s cast also includes Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse.

Have only watched the first ep of Jessica Jones, and am bored already. I'm tired of the petulant, constantly drinking 'super-hero'. I'll try a few more eps, but as much as I like her last season, I'm ready to cut her loose this one.

I enjoyed Rellik and have little to no hope for Lost in Space, so it could exceed expectations.

So many of these series are very well done, but so damn dark I feel the need— the need to choke down Xanax with a Lithium chaser and a Dr. Pepper back, followed by a Flintstones and Scooby Doo marathon.

And if it's a Brit series were they regularly kill off leads or central supporting characters, in addition to the above I want a splash of Three Stooges, or at least listen to Under the Sea and Kiss the Girl for a few hours.

On the other hand, Bosch clears my mind and all is right with the world.

Give it four more. It's a slow build, but it pays off well.

Ok. I've always appreciated character development, and it the case of this Marvel universe, watching two or three episodes at a time give me a theatrical feel. Slow pacing works well with what the Mills call 'binge watching'.

I'm in, Paul, but she better put out.

Read the Jessica Jones comics. You'll develop a real appreciation of how wrecked and depressed a Marvel character she is.
Jones succeeds as an off-beat superhero, but you wouldn't want to live in her building.
