Why Is This Home Priced So Inexpensively? (U.P. Of MI)
#41
Yeah, that's a house to own and use in the Summer for a Summer getaway and rent weekends or weekly in the Winter - possibly thru an agent. A good agent because an unrented week still needs >some< heat and someone going by and checking because one frozen pipe can do a lot of damage in an empty un-Winterized house.

I had a business associate that had one in an "association" gravel road neighborhood just outside of North Conway, NH. IT was an investment that he could escape in the Summer and he could rent/ family use to ski in the Winter nearby. He'd rent it in Summer especially in July to vacationers. He came out ahead.

Thanks for the link, and also for the rental info link. That one had several more pics.

Yeah, I use Zillow the same way as most every other website, with a grain of salt. They do shine as far as seeking out properties for sale. I can focus on an area and see just exactly what's out there.

Trulia is pretty much the same thing, and I use that, as well as the listing agents website for more info.
