Grand Daughter now wants to go from iPhone 6s to iPhone 6s+
#1
She has Apple care on the 6S, for another 8 or 9 months.

Someone, I am still unsure who she was talking, may have been Apple, said they would give her $225 depending on day she pulled the trigger.

And the price she was quoted on a 6s+ 32 gig, just over 400 and 128, just over 500.

Need to help this kid, not do anything financial irresponsible.

Whats the best way to move from 6s to 6s+.... ?? Find a used 6s+ and sell the 6s, seems like the slickest way.

6s/32Gb in good condition are selling for about $400 on Swappa, the 6s+/64GB is in the $450 range.

We are on T-Mobile, so what would need to be done to the 6s+ if I had one sitting here to make it work with the current Phone #, and take off the 6s?

Thanks for the price quotes

In my family (extended), that option does not exist except when first making the decision. No one gets to change their mind after the purchase. If it is $100, you live with your first decision. Surprisingly, this has worked for years.

There is something to be said about learning to live with one's choices.

I went from a 6 to a 6S Plus. If it were not for the camera, I would prefer the size of the 6. I will probably be buying a 7 Plus once prices go down because I am a suck for the camera. All this despite owning SLR cameras and lenses. It is strange.

He IS a pro, that's the problem. On the other hand, I love my 6s Plus for the screen size, just because (oh and battery life). I suspect that we are well off topic now.

You should be able to buy a GSM version (runs on ATT& T-mobile networks), pull the sim card from the 6s and put it in the 6s+. That's it.

(besides running the backup/restore for all her data).

Then wipe the old phone before selling it.

and make sure you deactivate it from your iCloud account, so the new buyer does not run into iCold activation issues.

BTW: i realized I misspelled iCloud, but sometimes it feels like iCold. I'll leave it as is.
