I haven't used one of these for years. Is it worth getting for ten bucks?

.....got them in the past but only makes sense if you will use the majority of the coupons in the book......not sure what it includes now but used to have discount movie theater tickets which is what I used the most and restaurant coupons......

Check the website and see if there's a book for places near you. I buy the Atlanta one each year when they get cheap. If I use it twice it's typically a wash. I'll usually use it a dozen times or so.

Our local book tends to have the exact same (free) coupons that come via direct mail or newspaper inserts each month.

The schools around here tend to use them as fund raisers. So, it's $25 to a good cause (kid's sports activity) and we usually can find enough places we'd patronize anyway to make it up.
YMMV

Years ago they were a *much* better deal around here... the last several years the "good" coupons are for places that aren't terribly convenient. Seems like it depends on where live determines how much value the books are gonna be these days. In the past it was kinda fun to divvy up the plethora good coupons that came in the book, simply because there were so many, that one family couldn't possibly use them all. Now, we'd have to move to really take advantage of what the book offers.

For 10 bucks, might not hurt.
Ours seems to cover Sacramento -- Stockton, which is 45 minutes away and been voted as the worst place in America to live several times, and then Modesto, which is 3 hours away. So if the book is half full with stuff from those places... might be useless...
