Mass shooting at Florida game tournament (2 updates)
#1
Sunday late morning/early afternoon, a mass shooting took place at a “gaming bar” where a Madden 19 tournament was underway. Shots were actually heard on the live Twitch video stream. Multiple fatalities, including the shooter.

There are two anecdotal reports, one from a supposed eye witness, saying there were two shooters. One of the accounts states they were told there were four fatalities.

Update
A clip of the Twitch gameplay occurring at the time of the shooting has been posted to twitter. 12-13 shots can be heard, along with cries of distress from those present.

Update 2
Los Angeles Times reporter Matt Pearce, has posted that one of the tournament competitors has told him the shooter was someone who lost a game, began shooting and then killed himself.

What the hell is wrong with people?

Also, This new shooter better not be another example of law enforcement failing to put people on the do NOT purchase list. What is so surprising is that so many of the recent mass shootings involve a failure of law enforcement from doing this safety issue. Just my two cents worth

Just a side note: the game being played was a complex NFL football match, not a gunslinger epic.

Shooter was David Katz, 24 of Baltimore. He lost the day before but came back with a gun and targeting other people before turning the gun on himself. Was a regular on this game tournament circuit, apparently.

Well, I certainly predict the controversy about video games and violence starting up, regardless of whether it's an NFL game or not...

Once again, the shooter was a grown man with the haircut of a 6 year old boy: straight-across bangs.
