Sounds like he won't do Comcast, maybe he had a bad experience with them, so I respect that. No need to keep reminding him about Comcast.

for me: Comcast was in fact OK, the cable is usually very reliable and they installed it fast.

Verizon DSL was a nightmare, so bad that I even disconnected the landline.
