50% OFF inside Walmart: Panasonic "high speed" toaster oven with convection
#1
Your mileage will defiantly vary; I walked past it listed as a clearance item, and Walmart usually "clearances" things out at normal price (in my expense.)

Shows as $80, I saw it for $40. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Panasonic-Hig.../374483315

Can't vouch for it but seems way better built than the usual $30-$40 toaster ovens with the mechanical timers and so on. Big enough to hold a pizza.

My family is holding out for an airless fryer thing. They're convinced it'd be a miracle machine.

NB-W250S; been on SD @ various times for past few months.

I bought it when it dropped to $80 & no regrets.
It's the best all round CTO I've ever owned, even airfrys!
12-inch pizza cooks perfectly.
$40 is a stupid cheap great deal.

I saw those at my Walmart. I have a range oven and a basic $30 Black and Decker toaster oven. Is there something in between these do to make me want to get one? Does it make two pieces of toast OK? I would have to quit using my basic toaster to make space for it.

Convection w/ dual infrared elements. Cooks faster w/ less energy & no preheating.
Don't have to heat up the big oven to cook a pizza, etc.
Donate the B&D to GW or SA.

One of my local Walmart’s even had them for $20. Bought both and flipped them for $60 each.

Carnos that's an amazing deal you got. I picked one up. Not for $20 of course. Bastage.

"The clincher" for me was when I ran a search for "air fryer," and it turns out than an air fryer is just a convection oven. as my 13 yr old would say.

OK maybe not "just," because another source says an air fryer is a small convection oven, and with a fan than runs at a different speed (faster? slower?) than a normal convection oven. I think the smaller size intensifies the cook and hence, the crispy nature of an air fryer results.

And just like that, all of my air fryer "knowledge" is exhausted.

Panny makes no such air fry claims for the NB-W250S, which either means they're missing the Trendy Boat, or because they realize the oven's too big or the fan's not the ideal air fry speed or whatever.

deckeda, I airfry "Lamb-Weston Grown in Idaho' frozen FF in mine.
12 min. @ 375F from a cold start. Their instructions call for 18-24min @ 420F
in a preheated oven! I use an aluminum grill screen, not a baking sheet to allow
proper air circulation.

Ok, so no joy at Walmart for the 50% clearance price, but I'm almost tempted to order it at the full $80 price.
