ENDED: Apple wired chicklet keyboard or two or three
#1
I have a few that are crippled in one way or another and recently bought an el-cheapo look alike. The knock off is a windows format and these old Mac fingers just can't adapt.

Have a new unused Magic Mouse I can throw in if anyone really wants or needs one.

Which keyboard is that? The wired aluminum extended or short? Or the old white ones?

Wired, aluminum extended, I have a wireless but need the numerical keys.

I have one, but it's not for sale. It's my backup, in case my wireless Logitech keyboard dies. I had a credit at the Apple Store years and years ago. Couldn't figure out what to buy. I thought $49 for a keyboard was ridiculous back then, but it matched my G5 tower, so I got it. Very happy I did. It worked great for 10 years before I decided to switch to wireless.

Took a while to get used to no numerical keyboard, but then I realized the only thing I used on the numerical keypad was the Pg Up/Pg Dn keys. My mouse is programmable, so I just programmed to buttons on the side with those keys.

FWIW, when my wife needed to replace her keyboard (and wanted the Apple keyboard again), I couldn't quite afford it, so I went with the Matias alternative for about $60: https://www.matias.ca/aluminum/mac/

It's nearly identical, key action feels the same (to me), and she's quite happy with it.

(It also adds a volume control on the back/top/whatever for incremental point volume control.)
