Nice, and I hope the Aluminum body does its thing. Switching to all AL was a risk that Ford took, but will significantly increase the life of the vehicle.

We picked up a 2018 Ford Focus to replace my son's Fiesta. Made in MI. The last year.. they are being made in Germany and China now.

Well, at least that V6 *probably* won't develop "manifold rumble" like the V8s. Just kidding. I think.

The turbos spooling up make a nice sound and make the F-150 incredibly fast - faster than the 5.0L version.

I have a Chevy Avalanche. It screams 'Merica! Throaty V-8, 4X4, 20" wheels.

Hecho en Mexico!

So much for my good intentions.

There is not black & white anymore. some "forn" cars are assembled here. Some Fords are made in China - and everything in between.

My adult car Audi has 2% North American content.

Go figure.

PS That is a great looking truck! Love the non-metallic grey. I have a buddy with a Ford Crew cab F-150. The back seat is soooo much roomier than my Avalanche.

Nice! (tu)

I'm not a fan of double cabs, but to each their own. And I agree, that color looks great!

Of course, I have to stick with GM. I get a nice fat employee/retiree discount, so I have no real incentive to choose another brand.

P.S. Thanks for the shout out for the U.A.W.! I've been a member for over 40 years.
