Anybody here repair high heel shoes?
#1
So my wife needs the tip of her heals repaired and there's no way to get it done locally. I ordered a kit from amazon that had a variety of rubber heal tips (8 mm, 9 mm 10mm 11mm 12mm and 12.5 mm) and two different metal pin sizes (2.4 mm and 3 mm). Unfortunately the 2.4mm is too small and the 3mm is too large. Go figure. Maybe it's because they are italian. Anyway, I can't find a kit with a different size pin. I know this is a stretch but has anyone here gone down this road. My googlefu is not finding anything useful. Thanks.

You don't have any leather or shoe repair shops locally?

Any mail order shoe repair? It should easily fit in a medium flat rate priority box.

Is Silver Heels closed?

The owner is a bit of a right-wing nutcase, but if it gets your wife's shoes repaired then everyone's happy, right?
