I tired the new Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola
#1
I don't like it.

The initial taste is good but it's got a bad finish.

I think that's because it's based on Coca-Cola Zero (or Zero Sugar) and not Diet Coke, which I like a lot.

So now I know to avoid any and all Coca-Cola (script logo) drinks and stick with Diet Cokes.

I've got a can of Vanilla Diet Coke at hand and like it a lot. Lime Diet Coke also finds favor.

I'll drink the Orange Vanilla swill, but only under protest. Maybe it'll go ok with chili for dinner. I don't see it doing well with chicken or fish.

The Lime does taste good despite me not tasting any lime. I would say Diet Coke improved it's formula about 10 years ago. Before that it used to foam up in my mouth too much.

They have both a zero and sugar version of the Orange Vanilla. My wife drinks it, I don't drink anything except diet Root beer with pizza and Unsweet Tea.

I taste no difference between diet and regular A&W Root Beer.

I've been drinking Virgil's, IBC, or Sprechers(local). https://www.sprecherbrewery.com/sodas/root-beer/

No sugar for me.

I just read the Sprecher's about page. Randy is one fascinating guy.

Diet Coke used to foam up a lot on airplanes when the flight attendant would pour it into a cup of ice. They would then wait for the foam to settle and pour more, get more foam, rinse and repeat.

I think this prompted them to just give up and give the passenger an unopened full can. It was costing them way more in time than the half can they were saving by just giving a cup full.

Now on some airlines, you have a flight attendant with a big bottle of water pouring swallows of water out to the thirsty.

My wife had one at lunch and said the same thing. We won't be buying any more of the stuff.
