Whelp... I'm not surprised, but our last Apple Authorized repair shop just went out of business a couple weeks ago. They'd been awfully "tight" financially for a couple years, and I did my part by buying overpriced adapters from them... but, alas, the "current condidtions" did them in.
20 years ago, we had three Apple Authorized shops. Then, two, when one moved out of the area... then, when another shops owner retired and no one wanted to buy the business, two.
So... I currently have two Macbook Air's that are out of warranty that have what seems to be hardware problems (one probably liquid damage by the coffee on the keyboard, and one battery issue) that I'd love to make someone elses problem to repair, or at least get a proper evaluation so I can tell the boss "they've had it, we need to order two laptops".
Any "Mail In" repair shops that have a good reputation?
