Stay engaged and active. Biden’s speech rightfully sounded like there’s a tremendous amount of work to be done. The only “positive” thing about the Trump years is that many of the nation’s scabs got ripped off in a way that should force us to confront diseases of discrimination and passivity towards hate.

I’m hoping for medicine to go along with the inevitable bandaids.

We have to keep working. There are legions of Trump wannabees waiting in the wings.

We have to heal and reach out to people that don't think like us and be the bigger people. The work we do isn't just for us, it's for everybody. When your enemies insist on working against their best interests, we have to continue to help get them what they need. Healthcare, Education, Employment, Climate justice and love. Tough love is love.
