Out of the 20 most important pictures in the world, somehow The Guardian chooses 3 of the total which depict the heroic Palestinians who would never think of doing anything against The Joos (for the 200th week in a row, pictures of happy peaceful Israelis and their children failed to make the cut...AGAIN.)
here=> https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign...f-the-week
Gaza
Palestinians protest against Israeli police blocking them from accessing the areas around the Damascus Gate of the Old City (except Gaza is nowhere near Jerusalem, but that never stopped The Guardian)
'Palestinian members of Hamas’ security forces show off their skills during a police graduation ceremony'.
(Who would the avowed genocidal terrorist group use them against...I wonder?)
'A Palestinian protester is detained during clashes with Israeli police as the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan continues in Jerusalem'
Ramandan is observed worldwide as a holiday of reflection and peaceful spiritual fasting, except in You-Know-Where.
Well at least some Jews made it into a Guardian photograph...depicted as always as armed thugs.
(Concurrent Jewish Israelis peacefully celebrating holiday of Lag B'Omer somehow didn't make it.)
And there you have it. Palestinians denied their first elections in 15 YEARS by the corrupt and autocratic Palestinian 'governments' somehow doesn't make it. because that reality never exists...in the Guardian

Tragically, that may change.

It was meant to be a joyous occasion. An estimated 100,000 ultra-Orthodox Jewish worshipers flocked to the holy site of Mount Meron in northern Israel on Thursday, forming crowds not seen since pre-pandemic times. With much of Israel’s population fully vaccinated, restrictions had been lifted, and the religious festival could take place.
But the celebration turned tragic when a stampede broke out, killing at least 45 people and injuring more than 100.

1) The celebrations take place all over the country. Mt Meron is the focus of the Ultra-Orthodox.
2) Government repeatedly ignored official reports that tomb of 2nd century sage, where ultra-Orthodox Jews gather for annual Lag BaOmer festivities, had long been neglected and structures built around it were safety risk (starting in 2008) https://www.timesofisrael.com/state-comp...eron-site/
3) Despite stern frequent warnings to distance and wear masks, the Haredis at Mt Meron, who frequently reject government health directives like the measles vaccinations, crowded shoulder to shoulder in their usual manner.
PS- this thread is about ongoing propaganda efforts by the left-wing UK Guardian.

I thought threads are open to any comments. Am I mistaken?

veering into the Mt Meron tragedy is kind of far from the topic.

Steve G., you did bring up the Lag B'Omer celebrations in your original post. Claiming the Mt. Meron tragedy is "far from the topic," seems to imply that the whole thread has no tangible topic for anyone, save you. Weird.
