I love Malinois, almost as much as German Shepherds.

Fur missles.

A&E network have a show - America's Top Dog, where several dogs and their handlers compete in hurdling walls, finding drugs or explosives (simulated, of course, and navigating various obstacles, culminating in Bad Man take downs.

Not all are police and their dogs, there are private security trainers/handlers as well.

It's truly amazing to see how smart some of these dogs are, watching them work.

One episode had a trainer competing with her 30lb 'shorty bull'.

No way was that dog going to bring down a 250lb guy in a bite suit.

Then, it the take down phase, the dog bit the quy's crotch and didn't let go.

No harm as it was a full bite suit, but the guy was probably a little surprised.

Working dogs are amazing.

A show on PBS had a border collie that understood 260+ whistle commands.
