WANTED: The very last 11" Macbook Air
#1
My 2012 11" MBA has some kind of weird wifi reception problem and I've been wanting to replace it for a while- tried the newer MBA and I can't stand the form factor. If Apple would come out with a new 12" Macbook I'd probably make my first new mac purchase ever... so just thought I'd put it out there to see if someone might be sitting on a lightly used 2015 MBA that's just gathering dust.

I'm a lover of this form too. I tried the 2015/2016 12" macbook as an upgrade, but it was NOT an upgrade. Those things are slow and have crappy keyboards and trackpads. Much nicer screen, but everything else about it is garbage.

So I searched ebay until I found a 2015 11" i7 MBA and it is doping the job now.

Oopsie, I misremembered the year of the last incarnation, thanks!
Started looking into the 12" Macbook and realized it was a dog.

I could make y'all a sweet deal on a 13" 2011 i7 CTO MBA, and an 18V Craftsman sawzall to cut two inches off it...... Cool

I applaud your visual acuity, and manual dexterity to handle an 11" MBA w/ what sounds like a quite competent amount of aplomb.

I have a last-gen 12" MacBook purchased as a fire-sale from OWC. Apple / Intel fixed the CPU issues.

The 2015 11" MBA benchmarks:

The 2017 12" MacBook is faster in all scores:

Right, isn't that one considered a dog mostly because of the keyboard?

Yes, that butterfly keyboard is criticized. But it still works fine IMHO.
