Microwave cooker gizmo is fast and easy for a small batch. Oven for a big batch.

A microwave does a very nice job for <10 pieces, which is enough for me.
I've no need for any other methodology. Though I will say Prue Lieth says an air cooker is the best way to cook bacon, but she does like it very crispy. Me, I like a bit of spring to it. However — frying bacon in a pan allows one to fry eggs in the bacon grease, and that's the best. Instead of over easy, basting the eggs with the grease means no flipping them and it's easy to them perfect – yellow runny, white not.

wife generally uses the microwave for her one or two pieces. I'm not a bacon fan so never bother with it.

Any of the above, it all results in cooked bacon.

I always thought that bacon was done in a frying pan. Once I realized it could be made on a cookie sheet in the oven I never looked back. WAY easier.
