new forum user hint

On the old forum, you could just click and go right to the unread posts. I have not found that on this version, but I did find a way to get to last post - if you go to the far right column, it will show who posted last. Don't click on the name, instead click on the words "Last Post" and it will take you to that post.

Now, if anyone has discovered how to just jump to unread posts in a thread, please share

Gareth found it:

Click on the green arrow that appears at the left of the subject when there are new posts.

In the list of threads, there's a tiny green right arrow just before the first character of the thread subject.

Clicking on that opens the thread and positions you at the first unread post.

It's a real pain to hit that arrow without also touching the thread subject on an iPhone.

Once the thread is opened and positioned, I haven't noticed any indication showing which posts have been read and which haven't.   Maybe there's an indicator that I just haven't noticed yet.

I can't take credit for this as I read it in post by Gareth.

When looking at the forum page with the list of post titles, there is a small green arrow to the left of the title, if you click the arrow it will take you to the last new post in the thread.

Yep, so far at least, no one has found any indication of which posts are new, although obviously, the forum knows since that green arrow takes you to the first new post. Maybe that is a feature that can be added in the future.
