What's with gmail??

Google mail has certainly been on the fritz the past couple days - unable to connect, etc - both from Mail and via a web browser. I've been getting "Sorry, please try again in a couple minutes" at laste 4-5 times a day. Anyone else been having trouble?

no problems and I login once every day. . .I'm using firefox on a PC. ..

Now Mail's not downloading my gmail. I have it set so once anything new has been downloaded that gmail then archives the original message - and it's not doing it. It has worked fine for over a year - now nothing!?

When you say "downloading" do you mean you can't get it in AppleMail?
If so, You might want to check that the mailbox is online. Mailbox>take XXX online

Yep - everything is online. I JUST got some of my new messages to show up in Mail.

I'd heard stories from other people about not being able to access Gmail but had never had this problem myself until a few days ago. It's happened just as you described several times.

I've ended up with a bunch of cannot send via gmail account problems and having to use an alternate account in Mail for a while now... grr.

Yeah - I have periods of not being able to send too!!! FRUSTRATING!
