No iBook today :(

Apple says:
Shipping Method Standard Overnite

FedEx says:
Ship date Mar 23, 2006
Estimated delivery Mar 28, 2006 10:30 AM
Service type IP Direct Distribution

Which means my iBook won't be here till Tuesday Sad
It left China yesterday (Thursday) and I was hoping to get it today (Friday). But Tuesday??? what kind of "overnite" is that???

Perhaps its delayed because they're shipping you a silent upgrade to the (to be announced on Monday
) Macbook Amateur.

I'm so sorry. I was afraid that my iMac wouldn't show up as promised on Tuesday, but I got lucky and it did. Mine was coming from Amazon and not Apple, though.

It's a long way from China to your neck of the woods and since you don't have a landing strip in your backyard that can accomadate a fully loaded WideBody Aircraft you will just have to wait!

It's G4 iBook REPLACEMENT for a dead G3 iBook that failed under AppleCare after 2 years and 10 Months.

You lose one day to International Date Line ?
You lose one day to customs. (UPS RED from Canada takes two days)
You don't count Saturday.
You don't count Sunday.
Sounds about right.

You can lose another day if you take the time to read all the fine print. Smile
