OT: Treo 650 -- Graffiti 2?
#1
Just got a new Treo 650, I see this program called Graffiti 2 in the list of files. However, not able to perform any Graffiti with the stylus. I have seen many forums discussing how to get Graffiti 1 working on these machines. I am still trying to figure out what Graffiti 2 is and how it works. Will keep looking...

Well, found some useful information here. Looks like the Graffiti 2 on the Treo 650 is not utilized the best I can tell.

I am an ole timer that loves Graffiti. No ideal what Graffiti 2 is unless it is where you write on the display screen instead of the lower area that is designated for graffiti. Me really thinks that is it.
Your Treo has the keyboard, you may as well use it. If you want to see if your Graffitti works open your datebook and try writing an L in the lower left quadrant of the screen or a 7 in the lower right of screen. The datebook and address book are ole programs that were set up for graffiti originally.

Palm lost the lawsuit with I think Xerox that prevents them from using graffiti 1. So that had to develop and use graffiti 2. The main difference is that several of the letters are made with 2 keystrokes, not the simplified language of graffiti 1.

Graffiti 2 is teh suck.

I bought Tealscript so that I could force my Zire 72 to use Graffiti 1 keystrokes.
