Jay Leno is one of the greatest comedians of all time. He actually used to have an edge. He has a brilliant understanding of the craft of comedy. When he got the Tonight Show it was the double whammy. He went soft because he didn't want to offend potential guests. In addition, started competing with Letterman, and Leno became even more softball. I know Leno still does stand up on the weekends. I wonder if it's sharper than his Tonight Show material. Some of the stuff he does now on the Tonight Show is downright embarrassing.

Now THAT'S funny!
Carrot Top is pretty funny. So is Robin. I don't like most of his movies, but he's a funny guy. Ellen is great.
Whoopi never really made me laugh. Pauly, not a bit. Lisa is crass, and grates. Same with Howard. I've laughed a couple of times, but those have been rare. Jay Leno did great stand up, lousy hosting, so I don't know what he's like now. Rosanne was funny in the early days, but not any more. Rosie never made me laugh, but I don't know that she was ever really a comedian.
At least the aforementioned didn't do much to make me laugh.
