OT: The Devil Wears Prado...m. streep
#21
I guess my "full frontal" comment might have been taken to mean that I was fixated on her breasts.

Don't get me wrong: They're a nice pair. But she's got the whole package.

It's the overall aesthetic.

She's got a great smile, a bubbly laugh, an angelic face, freckles, a realy nice figure, a grabbable ass, a fine pair of hooters that she's not afraid to show off and overall she gives me the impression that she's someone that I'd like to wake up in the morning with. Repeatedly.

Harbourmaster, you posted that pic to put us off? But I think the tired eyes and smeared mascara look good on her.

[quote Harbourmaster]FWIW my 15 year old niece is WAY hotter than Anne will ever be but she is not "in the movies" for all of you to gawk at...
Only for you to drool over, I guess.

Still can't see that photo...

But in addition to what MacMagus said: I'd add that she seems to have a good personality, and a brain; and seems to be a genuinely nice, kind person in real life, from what I've seen of her from interviews ... some of us guys DO actually look for these things too... Big Grin

That was uncalled for, Rusty.

HM, you'll note that I simply referred to her as "very attractive."

I haven't seen enough interviews to judge. But if so, that would seal the deal. Now if only we had a mutual friend to introduce us...

MacMagus, a little quick investigation reveals the following suggestive evidence:

1) Quote #1: "I look my best after an entire hair and makeup team has spent hours perfecting me. When do I feel my best? When I haven't looked in a mirror for days, and I'm doing things that make me happy."

2) Quote #2: "Kindness is really important to me in finding my own prince - so are patience and a sense of humor. Without those qualities he's no Prince Charming!"

3) Accidentally fell off of her chair during her audition for the role of the klutzy princess in 'The Princess Diaries". She was hired on the spot.

4) Is a vegetarian.

5) She grew up wanting to be a nun. Though she was raised Catholic, she refused to continue in Catholicism specifically when she found out her brother was gay. Her quote: "I do not support a religion that doesn't support my brother." (Since then, she refers to herself as a nondenominational Christian.)

Sigh. Too bad she's going out with some real estate developer.

[quote MacMagus]> Love her or hate her for her acting ability, not bad direction.

She's not a very good actress. But she has a fantastic smile. Which makes for a pretty decent parallel to Julia Roberts.

But Hathaway has one heck of a body, too.

And with that bod and the rep she got for her work in Havoc (which was apparently edited down from full frontal and pornographic to modestly topless), she might just have a veeeeery interesting career ahead of her.
There is an Unrated/Uncut version available on DVD. I got it from Blockbuster Online.
