Separated at birth?

BTW DonKiyoti, the Buick front end looks nothing like the Pontiac's.

I didn't suggest the Buick looks like the Pontiac. I was just thinking about the Buick as a really bad GM idea when I saw the Pontiac. The Solstice is a car that looks better in pictures than in real life.
First things first, your subject line "Separated at birth?" has always meant a strong family resemblance, i.e., twins, or babies born of the same mother.
The Solstice is stunning, and the new Saturn Sky even more so.
I don't know what kind of vehicle you think is good looking. But you really missed the mark on the Solstice.

The front of the Saturn Sky blows the Pontiac away. GM needs to do away with Pontiac all together.

[quote N-OS X-tasy!]I disagree. I've seen quite a few here in SoCal and I think they look boss. If only they worked as nice as they look...
They work nice, but typical GM, heavy, and underpowered.
Heavy because the vehicle was designed for a V8.
Underpowered because typical GM, they are waiting to see sales figures before putting the supercharged 4 cylinder with an additional 80 horsepower.
The V8 will probably never make it to production due to GM's paranoia that it will cannibalize the Corvettes sales.
GM has always lived that fear, not understanding that Corvette folks will always buy Corvettes, no matter what.
Even when the Corvette had the disastrous "CrossFire Injection" that made every Corvette a roadblock, the fans still fawned over it.
