OK, so it's $60 OOP, then $30 AR.

That's ridiculous.

Have fun, rebate suckers.

Elmo, I usually avoid rebate deals and I seldom recommend any purchase that involves a rebate. However, I have dealt with Kingston on a rebate and have no complaints. Turnaround was good, and they notified me by e-mail when they received my rebate submission and again when they were issuing the rebate.

you can get a PQI SD 150x for 32 shipped. So why bother with rebates? they're all made in the same sweat shop anyway.

Not everyone around here would agree that it doesn't matter what kind of memory card you buy.

I won't deal with PQI at *all* after a rebate situation a few years back. It took 2 years to get the rebate; I gave up after 6 months, calling them and getting nothing but voicemail and empty promises. Apparently someone put the screws to them, and the money came to me out of the clear blue sky. I stared at that check for a long time before it dawned on me who PQI was and why they were sending me money.

Despite the fact that I got the rebate, in my opinion that situation was nothing but a scam. Even if PQI resells the exact same product as Kingston, I'd pay Kingston more for it. No more of my hard earned cash goes to PQI.

After reading pRON's comments on memory cards, I've been using Sandisk lately. But my 1GB Kingston card has been good so far (4-5 months, lots of images shot)

I think if you search for Sandisk, you'll eventually find them.
