wow! strange new world.
years ago, pepper sprays were marketed for women's self defense. wonder if these will take the same spin. problem is, you have to be physically close for a taser to be of any use. ![]()

roughly 20 feet. Those are 15 feet, but TI has a 22' cartridge. Not sure why they aren't using them. The laser pointer inside is a smart move.

oh, so a taser doesn't need to touch the body to work? i guess i thought they worked like cattle prods. that makes consumer availability even more viable - and insidious.

two electrodes with tiny barbs, and thin insulated wires. Both need to hit and stick to the target, or targets clothes. Then the high voltage will complete the circuit by either direct contact, or arching. Or so I have read.....
