... this is not one of those days. Today is off the freakin' charts. Un-real. And he hasn't even mentioned computers yet!
Apple produced this time around. BIG TIME.

Yeah, I'm "watching" on Engadget.
It's not just out of the park. Grand-slam, win the series out of the park. Apple's going to double its value just on this one product.

I think I need to see these products in person to get why you guys are so excited. I'm in L.A. now unfortunately and hope to be back in the bay before Friday at 4pm.
I like the iPhone, but I'd want one without the phone part. RAMd®d, you don't excited too often.

Just still photos from the demo blew my mind--and I completely scoffed the original iPod when it was announced.
This thing looks like the proverbial convergence product at last. Think souped-up Powerbook in your pocket (that makes phone calls sort of as a sideline), and you get the idea.

I'm headed down to the Expo shortly. I'm sure the crowds will be 10 deep at all times to fondle the iPhones.
Even at those prices and with the Cingular exclusive, this is one of those epochal products that's going to turn the entire industry on its ear.
But there's no reason why they can't apply the same technology to a hard drive-based iPod. I would expect sales to crater until that happens, honestly. Then again, everyone's buying Nanos and Shuffles anyway.

I use my powerbook to edit pictures and to work on files other than just text. It's a souped up phone - it's nothing like a powerbook.
