It sounds like the setup for one of those X-Files episodes where the plot was so ridiculous, they just decided to make it a comedy. Astronaut possessed by an alien that looks like Lucille Ball, or something.

Very bizarre. Nowak lives in my neighborhood, a couple of streets away. Her son is in 8th grade. Twin daughters that are 4. I don't know her, though. My kids are older.

They have a zero-grav toilet, but that is only for once they are in orbit. The issue is that during launch and reentry they have to go. The crew will even try to dehydrate the day before launch to minimize the effect, but it does not work. They guys can wear a diaper or a condom-like device that goes to a pouch. Their choice. They tried a female device/pouch thingee early on, but it didn't work well.
