a friend of mine just got a brother HL2070N laser printer. eventually she wants to hook it up to her airport base station so all computers on her network can use it.
is this the correct cable?

Yes, unless it needs a cross-over cable.
Edit: From reading a review on Amazon, installation should be a breeze.

Yes, assuming the printer has an Ethernet port, which I believe it does.

thanks, all. no, the instructions don't say crossover. she already has the printer usb'd to her iBook and is in love with it already. another score for the Brother line.

different vendor $7 shipped. may end up being cheaper. Almost all the PCMS branded stuff is either free or $1 shipping.
I have a bunch of their ethernet, IDE and FW cables.

Good choice for printer! Our is one year old printer and working flawlessly. A minor negative: the print-out is yellowish from the heat.

N laser printer
N signifies Network version.

Indeed; hence my statement "I believe it does."

Does anything require a crossover cable anymore?
