Thing is with her, it's more likely PEBMAC* than not.

My system changed from 1:59:59 to 3:00:00 AM this morning just fine.

No, you guys are wrong. Suzanne explained the problem. Her Macs can't download and they screw up her Internet connection.

Her Macs are bad. Very bad. Everything else is okay.

(pssst--yes, your computer has a clock inside it, plus a small flat battery to run the clock and some other things)
Yes I'm well aware that desktops have a pram battery as I have changed more than my share

Miss Sam has no mac desktops - just laptops and I'm guessing based on her limited information
that the reason her clock in the mac didn't update was because she did not have it connected
to the net so it would be updated and also knowing her I'm betting her software is not up to date either.

Trying to keep it simple for her

Sorry - I couldn't find an "elmo I'm in superiorland" graphic

Good to see some things never change with the mac bashing samintx . But it is still hard to understand why samintx spends so much time here. Seeing how her macs are no good and PC's are so great.

Seems odd to me that she can't get the update, and of course it totally screw's everything else up for her wonderful pc's.

Are you continuing to insist that her Macintosh has no "clock chip" and therefore cannot keep time by itself, and must be connected to a time server?

You're wrong. And you don't even know it, to the point where you continue to spew the misinformation.

[quote samintx]Connected to DSL but tries to download updates but then says it can't. Then it screws up my DSL on the PC.....I don't care, all the other clocks in my house are atomic Norad clocks so as long as I get up at 4:00 a.m. each morning I really don't care what time it is! I'll just resent manually. no problemo.
Funny how its your Mac that messes up your DSL connection. I highly doubt it from the limited information you provide. Something is wrong with your Mac Sam, get it fixed.

LOL! You don't even know what a troll is.

Do you CONTINUE to dispute that her Macintosh has a built-in clock that keeps time even when it's off, and even when it has no main power like the main battery?

Well?

You've spouted bad info, and then--after being corrected--continued to spout bad info. Now you're back for a third time, again with the bad info. Only this time, you ad ad hominem attacks to your repertoire.

Your way of handling it: ignore that you were blatantly wrong, and instead attack the people who call you on it.

Feel better, elmo, now that you've administered your daily dose of churlishness?
