Maybe he's having dinner with her. Or still stuck in the Timeshare tour.

It went well -- got home about an hour or so ago (we started at 10AM!). Not sure anything will come of it-- we have a lot of very obvious differences, but... it was a pleasant way to spend the day. If nothing else, I'll end up with an attractive female friend (who might have another attractive female friend who I would be a better match with, etc.).
(Oh, and no-- she wasn't trying to sell me anything!)

She's a carbon based lifeform, and you're hamster based? BGnR

So why the lukewarm report? What specifically makes you think that she is only "friend" material?

we have a lot of very obvious differences oh, my God, you opened your pie hole and spouted gerbil crap. There's much, much more to this that PeterB won't tell, for obvious reasons.

elmo, tranquilo.
you offered some very succinct (and correct) advice the first time around. no need to assume and do so in a wiseass way.

rgG, I think it is rather that I am only friend material to her... from my side, she is certainly attractive and nice, but it is true that we have a lot of differences... religion, interests, etc... these are things we both knew about going into it (she perhaps more aware than I), but she apparently wanted to go through with the date anyway, thinking that it would be a fun time and that I could use the opportunity to get out (I don't get out much, with my job).

[quote PeterB]but it is true that we have a lot of differences... religion,.
She doesn't believe that a hamster was the true messiah? She isn't a member of the Church of Hamsterology? BGnR |
