Wow, the top 25 is tough! (38910)

I have been plugging away and making some strides, but now that I am in the top 25, I am looking at some very stiff competition.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve...I am now accelerating plan B!

It was hard enough getting into the top 50, then regaining that position...

Considering the fact that we only have about 50-55 active users on any given day, out of a total of approximately 200, I think that we are doing well to be at team position 69 overall.

I continue to slowly add to my small army of old G3 & G4 machines whenever possible and continue to dream of the day that I can buy a new MacPro or iMac to kick my folding into high gear!

I'm down to 17. Stopped folding on my MBP, too much heat.
Wonder if the Macs where I used to work are still folding?
It appears to be climbing but more leveled.

Well, I don't know, 3 AL iMacs will propel you to one of the top daily performers Wink

IIRC, here's how to do it with the intel Macs:

1) Download and install Increase.
2) Configure Increase with user/team info and let it download/install the client -- but don't start folding yet (it installs the wrong version of the core).
3) Quit Increase and download the console beta client for intel macs.
4) Copy the two files from the tar archive into the location created by Increase (usually something like ~/Library/Increase/unit1)
5) Open Increase, make sure it is set to Launch the fah6 client and you should now be able to start folding.
