Break a leg!

Errr...on second thought.

Do be careful, though, I'm in Philly, and the weather here is *horrible*! It's been raining for over 24 hours, and for the last few, it's been a sleety snow mix. Yuck!

On the bright side, I just finished my taxes. On the dark side...I owe! :-(

Best of luck, though! May you be fleet of foot and warm of skin.

Thanks, everyone! I got a fairly good night sleep last night. The big issue now is the logistics of getting to the start line and staying dry during the 3 hours of waiting around outside. We have to board the busses at 7am to get up to the start, and then they drop us off outside in the rain. The race starts (for me) at 10:30am. Cheers!

Good Luck Tofer and thanks for wearing the sign !
Man Windoze sucks. All my images are DARKER than on a Mac.

Tofer ends up looking like Tony Curtis with earrings. Or, Mr. Clean WITH HAIR. Not sure WHY his ears look like they have earrings, however. But, it's funny looking.

[Ed: funny, I could not remember Tony Curtis' name off the top of my head, but I did remember that when I was young I saw him in HOUDINI (movie), used IMDB and correctly chose the 1953 movie which in turn pointed me to his name]

Oddly enough, both Tony Curtis and Yul Brenner were in a movie together, Taras Bulba.

Either way, images in (MY) windows suck.

Good luck with that running.

Good luck . . . especially with that sign . . . you can at least hold it over your head while you are waiting for the race to begin!

tofer-

u might want to stay hydrated.

then again, running 26.2 miles in a rainstorm is not my idea of taking liquid into my body.

as they say in the car biz-your mileage may vary.

good luck to u.

we are rooting

be well

42 degrees is the ideal weather for running. You gotta run to keep warm and it minimizes dehydration. Rain is good too for cooling. I don't think the wind is good unless it is at your back. You are going to fly today!

Rain making somebody hot would be better. Now "Rain is cool" is the real deal.
