Detecting Screen Capture
#1
Can a website detect if you are using a screen capture program such as Snapz Pro or Grab on their website? Or is it all handled on your end? Thanks!

I don't think it is possible.

Only if a lawyer from their website is in your room and is looking over your shoulder and seeing that you are infringing their copyright.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but the original post, mentioning "Grabbing" a website lead me to check into my services menu. Does the Grab service not work in Safari?

I know there's a whole lot of sites and posts about the lack of content in the services menu, so I don't need to be led to those. I was just curious about this one instance.

Thanks all for the input. Smile

Jeff...not sure what you mean..but I think that Grab would work in Safari. I'm using Firefox, though but in the services menu there is Grab right there.

No Services Grab in Safari for me, but you can Ctrl Click on an image to have options or you can Apple-I (see file>mail contents of this page) and you will get the whole page with active links as a snapshot in a new email. You can then do with it what you want.
