Supposedly in good condition with box, disks and manuals. I don't need one but it would look good on my desk (if I can find a place to put it). Dunno the specs but it's obsolete anyway. Maybe I'll give it to my ex wife instead of my G3 iBook.

If everything is there; I would go $125. They seem to sell around that ballpark, maybe a bit higher on eBay.
The power supply sells for $60-$80 alone.
I bought one this summer. I always wanted one. It's a fileserver/iTunes server/back up for me. Takes up little room. If you put too much money in one; you might as well by a G4 mini. I had a spare hard drive and a video card laying around. Found 1.5 gigs of RAM for not a lot. I figure I have about under $200 in my Cube.

Good advice - thanks for that. I'd actually thought of starting higher. I'll see what his first offer is and go from there- for all I know it might be a 450 - if so, maybe I could pull the chip from my 933 QS and speed it up a bit. That's not worth much any more although it's a dependable box.

I have absolutely no need for one, but I want one too. So far I've managed to restrain myself.

We had one along with the first Titanium PB (G4 400 if I remember correctly), clamshell iBooks, Bondi blue iMacs and some G4 towers when we were testing our application at work. I loved the cube, but when they were through the test cycle somebody in management scammed the PB and the cube. I guess it's a memory of happier times at work, before jobs started going to China and now, mine, to the Czech Republic in a few months.

Not the ideal machine... but I have a ton of iMac Indigos (400MHz) for the juke box thing, because THAT makes sense for that purpose, until you start considering... "gee... maybe a Pismo or even a battered iBook is better, because no screens are needed, blah blah..."
And the truth is---- do we really NEED a whole machine for a Juke Box? Or are we just making up a reason to get more machines!???!?
I realize that is what I was doing -- and I'm gonna keep doing it too! I just thought I'd be honest and say that I know it!!

pay the same price as for a hole in your head.
