Anyone install iPhone update?
#1
Looks interesting, but ...

When are we going to see:

1) Cut and paste

2) Ability to pipe music through Bluetooth

3) Ability to transfer stuff via Bluetooth (posted about this below)

4) The end to these stupid unreadable "mime" attachments in emails

etc. (feel free to add your own personal pet peeve to this list)

... it's just that it seems they keep adding esoteric features, when ignoring the basic things that need fixing...

I would just like to agree with 2, 3 and 4.

I have high hopes we'll see lots of cool iPhone s/w once the SDKs ship. The 1.1.3 update is a nice bump in the mean time especially the virtual GPS.

re #4: can't help with it on the iPhone, but here's what I use on the MacBook Pro side of the equation: http://www.restoroot.org/OMiC/en/index.php

Does anyone except AOL still use MIME?

macphanatic, it doesn't have to do with AOL. I checked into it, it can also happen with certain Exchange servers, which are fairly common in corporate environments. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=329069

I just want a decent to do list app.

Can't wait for the SDK!

One hint about adding "the basic things that need fixing" comes with seeing that there are now two pages for apps. Hopefully, they'll both soon be filled with exactly the things that each individual user needs to have fixed.

For a nominal fee, of course …

bfd, the fees may be illegal, that's maybe why they haven't done it already for iPhone...

bfd, the fees may be illegal...

What fact(s) do you base that statement on?
