Among my verymost favorite along with Sam Smith's Nut Brown and Old Speckled Hen. A little hard to find 'round the states.

Man -- it has been forever since I had a Theakston's. I remember it as being dark and somewhat oily? Also, does it (did it) come in 3 packs?

I was partial to Whitbread Pale Ale in my teens. When I turned 21, we ordered in cases of it for the party (also cases of Bass, Dinkel Acker, Spaten Optimator).

Why can I remember what kind of beer we had at that party, when I cannot remember what classes I taught -- nor even how long I was employed -- at >redacted< Technical Community College in >redacted< North Carolina?
