[quote Markintosh]Would I just be stating the obvious to point out a connection between Daniel Faraday and Michael Faraday (electromagnetism scientist from 1791)?

Also, Desmond's last name is Hume and there was David Hume.

David Hume (April 26, 1711 – August 25, 1776)[1] was an 18th-century Scottish philosopher, economist, and historian, considered among the most important figures in the history of Western philosophy and the Scottish Enlightenment.

Hume was heavily influenced by empiricists John Locke and George Berkeley...

[quote rgG]BTW, that large sailor guy on the boat played a Goa'uld named Zipacna on Stargate. He was Klor'el's archon, lawyer, when the Tolans were trying to decide whether or not to separate Klor'el from his host Ska'ara. His name is Kevin Durand.

And yes, I know I have spent way too much time watching Stargate over the years. Smile

I knew I had seen him somewhere.
