Interchange no worky

So I have a CS3 InDesign file that I need to send to someone who only has CS. I thought if I saved it as a Interchange file she would be able to open it in CS. Is that incorrect? It keeps telling her its not a valid Interchange file.

Try having her make sure she is on the highest version of interchange. I believe a new update came out with CS3.

I shot her an email with that suggestion. we'll see what she says. this is my former employer so I really don't give 2 monkeys whether or not they have the capability to open my files.
