Anyone using an external modem?
#1
Aaaargh . . . I just came to the realization that my new iMac has no modem; I have a fax program that I use constantly to send out press releases and other things, with scores of numbers built in.
Can anyone recommend a USB modem that plays nice with an Intel mac? Is there such a thing?
[groan-- can't switch to new mac until this is solved . . .]

Yeah sorry, I panicked-- didn't think anyone would still be making one.
Looks like me and my keyboard are making a trip to N Michigan Ave tomorrow.
$949 mac now a $1,000 mac . . . the ad for the MDD is going to be all about the amazing built-in modem.

I managed to get through the last twenty years without a fax machine. Isn't email with attachments a more relevant way to send information?
