Goodwill score... $150 profit. Really.

Apple's USB Mighty Mouse (this is a Mac forum, afer all). The cord has a wee bit of green on it when it was dragged across a green felt tip pen. $3. Now I have a backup for my Bluetooth Mighty Mouse.

And as if that wasn't enough, found a new, shrink wrapped, IRISPen Executive 6 for $20. Mac/PC. Or, in my case, Amazon, where I hope to sell it for about $170. At that price I'll be the low-price leader!

Guess that paid for the tank of gas I used finding these bargains.

Goodwill Score Leader! I love GW in smaller towns for this sort of thing.

It gets better. Tonight I also bought a Honeywell VisioinPro 8000 touchscreen thermostat. Also new. I paid $8 at GW. Amazon had it for $159. http://tinyurl.com/6hkz47

Family best: a Tiffany Peretti platinum chain w/ 1/2 carat diamond in a $14.95 bag of junk jewelry, found by Mom. I sold it for $1,300. The two 14K ear ring sets found within more than paid for the bag of junk. Well, the Tiffany way more than paid for it, I suppose.

LOL, I think I saw a new "Spite & Greed" store opening up just down the road too.

The local Goodwill had a B&W 350 64MB 6GB complete with puck mouse at the bargain price of $200.

Fortunately, someone beat me to it.

This sounds like what I see at local thrift stores; usually it's filthy beige printers from the 90s for $60+.

Good deals! I occasionally find a $4 book that I can sell for $15, or even $40, but that's about it. With all you guys scouring the stores disguised as derelicts, it's hard to find bargains!
