Do you lick envelopes?

I am addressing a raft of Thank Yous. I'm licking them.
Not to be all Seinfeld-ish you know.

Do you lick or use a moistened cloth?

If it's enough envelopes that my tongue is likely to get dried out from it, I just use a moistened paper towel.

Usually just lick, but these days, when I can I buy the envelopes with the peel and stick flap.
