The Fix List

The "new" tag is working for me in Safari 3 , Firefox 3,a and Camio 1.6.3 - you might try clearing your cache

As far as the "random page return" when you leave a sticky thread I'm not sure but I think it was always that way.
It returns you to the point in time when the sticky was originally posted.

Tried clearing cache in both browsers, no change... also, in both browsers on my other computer (one's a MBP 10.4.11, the other a G5 dualie 10.4.11),-again, no "new" tags and no change after emptying cache.

FWIW, they work fine for me over at the other place.

Noted, thanks!

That's a quote mark and close parenthesis being interpreted as a quote mark + semi colon and close parenthesis. Hit the quote-this-message link to see for yourself. Sorry if this has already been reported. I searched but didn't see it mentioned. Thanks to Marc Anthony for mentioning it in an unrelated thread.

It was like that in the old forum, too, at least with some key stroke combinations like GB) , which is GB no space ) .

I never recall having a problem in the old forum with GB, but I think it's reasonable to expect a quote mark and a close parenthesis to remain as text, especially since the "winking smiley" already has a working character combo that doesn't appear in normal writing.

With all the other changes to the forum complete(?), there is still one long-standing glitch that has not been addressed -- the favicon leaves an unsightly gap on its left, whether the result of not being wide enough, or being shifted a pixel to the right.
