Is there a way to rate a song on the iPhone's iPod?
#1
I download music from all over the place (free SXSW music, free MP3s from music blogs, etc.) and am constantly hearing songs while shuffling on my iPhone that I'd never heard before and love. Is there a way to assign a rating to a song on the iPhone rather than relying on my memory or notes and doing this thru iTunes on my Mac? I've never seen this feature on pre-iPhone iPods and was hoping that with all the new, extra whizziness the iPhone features, there might be a way to do capture my preferences as a song is playing.

I can do it on my Touch. Are you sure it's not on your iPhone?

Get into the "album view" and the star rating for the current song is on the top.

Google found me this example:

If it is, it's not obvious to me. Where is this feature located??

(30 seconds later) Duh! I just figured it out. Yey! Thanks!

VOID THIS POLL!

Typical pollster trying to make statistics tell LIES!

"at least 25% of people wanted this feature on their iPod" --- well, 100% got it!
