Hmm. That's the point where it starts to get tempting.

The OS X install is pretty well worked out. The only things that do not reliably work, I think, are LAN and sleep.
A few people on FW got them - $220's or so for the 512/4gb versions.
But now I've been reading comparisons between the Dell, Samsung and MSI models - and I'm wondering which is the best value. They all run OS X well.

Few weeks a go I got really excited about these netbooks. The idea being that I would use my MacBook for serious stuff and the netbook for surfing/email or for travel. Then I realized I will eventually want to do everything on one machine so I'll start cramming the netbook with everything I have on the Macbook and be frustrated in the process. How do you see this?

I got one last time with this promotion and just ordered another. (Actually got a better deal this time...business account is $8 for NDA shipping).
Thanks Panoption!
PS. The first one is destined for an OSX hack (after the holidays...gotta decide which install to use.)

I have both. Sometimes you just want to read your email or surf the web. Just snatch up the mini and head out. Still playing with mine. Will try the OSX hack after the holidays. If you got the some free coin they're neat little units.
