? re Leopard upgrade DVD
#1
I have 10.4.11 on a G5 DP1.8 and I'd like to move to Leopard. This guy on ebay says that the Leopard Upgrade DVD will install on any machine. Is this true? Here's the link:

If it's a Leopard upgrade DVD, you will need to have 10.4.x installed on the computer for it to work.

and yes, the Upgrade DVD will work on any machine that is Leopard-approved. Your G5 certainly fits that.

I'm with jdc on this one. I actually prefer Tiger to Leopard.

I like Leopard over Tiger because of Spaces, Quick Look, and Stacks in the Dock (in list format), plus a few others.
